The Ambassador visits Jean-Marc Guillou’s football academy.
The Ambassador of France to Ghana, François Pujolas visited the football academy of Jean-Marc Guillou, a former France international football player, where he attended a game that he kicked off.
The academy, based in the greater Accra region since 2010, trains and prepares young Ghanaians to become professional player following the founder’s own philosophy thought as more balanced for the development of the students. The children, often from underprivileged background, are supported throughout with school education as well as French language classes, and they have their medical care covered by the JMG Academy.
This initiative provides the academicians with a very high employability rate, and this project comes in line with the commitments promoted by the French Embassy in Ghana : sustainability, dialogue between societies and support to youth development in a globalized world.
