Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center
In addition to the Ecole de Maintien de la Paix in Bamako (tactical training), and the National Defence College in Abuja (strategic studies), the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center in Accra is a Ghanaian center. It is a reality since 2003.
It is today a training and research Center dedicated to the operational level, supported by international donors and outside stakeholders. It is mainly focused to ECOWAS countries, and is dedicated to research and training in all the components of the Peace keeping Operations (civilian, Police, Military).
