Campus France at the World View Educational Fair
Campus France Ghana took part in an educational fair organized every year by Worldview International Group. The event which took place on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra saw more than 500 potential students interacting with different representatives of universities and institutions of higher learning about opportunities available, especially for masters and doctoral programs as well as scholarship grants available. Campus France Ghana was at Mövenpick to promote higher education in France.
Mr. Daniel Doe, the Coordinator of Campus France, Ghana, with the assistance of national service personnel received many students interested in the French higher education. Most of them have expressed interest in masters and doctoral programs, notably in the areas of sciences, arts and most of the time business related programs. These potential students were very enthused by the low cost of tuition in French universities and the role the Campus France Ghana plays in Ghanaian student mobility.
Mr. Doe assures that, French universities also provide masters and doctoral programs purely taught in English. He stressed that, the French Government makes no distinction between foreign students and French nationals as they enjoy the same government subsidies and fee waivers as French nationals.
He added that, lots of scholarship opportunities are available for studies in France, aside the scholarships program the French Embassy offers every year and encouraged the participants to apply for the scholarship which is currently opened for the 2016/2017 academic year.
