Call for Projects from Artists : last days to register!
To commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women which is officially 25th November, the French Embassy will host an art exhibition on Tuesday 27th November at Alliance Française which aims to raise awareness on the hidden forms of violence against women: sexual abuse, domestic violence, child marriages, female genital mutilation, trafficking, emotional abuse, to mention but a few.
In order to raise the awareness of the youth, the French high school of Accra and a public high school partner will participate in the event and give an honorary prize.
If you’re an artist and will be in Accra on Tuesday 27th November and you would like to take part in the exhibition and discussion, kindly fill out this form and send to Genevieve Partington via firstname.lastname@example.org by 11th November 2018, 5pm GMT. You can attach a picture of your work of art and describe it in the application form.
Works of art may have been produced before the launch date of the call for projects or particularly for the occasion. This call for projects is open to both women and men.
All formats will be accepted (photo, painting, sculpture, video, etc.)
Only applicants that get accepted will be contacted.
The works of art remain the property of the artists. The organizers may have the right to represent the work in whole or in part, by any means of communication to the public, including transmission by radio or television, electronic communication, exhibition in a public or private place within the context of the event.
